Video surveillance products provide ways to secure your home and belongings against robbers or burglars as these products provide video recording of the occurrence 24 hours a day. The WVC210 Wireless has a wireless internet video camera that sends live video through the internet to a web browser anywhere in the world so that you can view your home anytime of the day wherever you are. It supports dual codec (MPEG-4 and MJPEG) which can be used simultaneously. The MPEG-4 provides efficient bandwidth consumption with good-quality compression and it is also best for concurrent viewing of video. And the MJPEG provides maximum video quality, making it perfect for large-volume storage to a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. It also has audio capabilities which also include two-way audio, an embedded microphone, external speaker and microphone ports, and voice compression.
WVC210 Wireless has additional features such as IP multicast, Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), Real Time Protocol (RTP), and 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) that enables the video to be viewed from multiple endpoints and applications you have, such as 3G phones and QuickTime clients on PCs or Wi-Fi phones. It is also supported with network protocols such as 802.1p priority, 802.1Q VLANs, and Dynamic DNS (DDNS). It has pan, tilt, and 2x digital zoom functions that allow you to control the camera movement and focus, giving you maximum remote flexibility. It also has complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor with glass lens.

It also supports up to 10 simultaneous unicast users that can access the camera at any time you like. It also has motion detection with event notification that is triggered once motion is detected and would send information to your email account or alarm log in the monitoring software. The LCD screen displays full IP address that provides easy configuration. It also includes software for monitoring, recording, and playback of up to 16 cameras that can be placed in and out of the house.
It also captures JPEG snapshots at multiple resolutions and the snapshots can be sent to an FTP server. It has an IP multicast which supports unlimited multicast users. The 3GPP allows viewing of video on a 3G mobile device. The Real-Time video recording from the Web can interface directly with one button recording. And the PC-less event recording directly to Network Attached Storage via integrated Samba client is also equipped in this system.
